Do I have to provide all registrant details in the domain contact fields? I don't want my information listed on whois.

ICANN requires complete and accurate whois data (name, address, phone, email) for all domain names. We are obligated to ensure such policy is adhered to. Willful provision of false or misleading whois information is grounds for deletion of your domain.

There are many reasons for maintaining accurate whois data, such as, to protect intellectual property rights, renew and manage domains, prevent abuse (spam) and malicious/illegal conduct (harrassment, child porn, trademark infringement, etc.)

The bottom line is that when we get a complaint from ICANN about incorrect whois information of your domain, we are contractually required to investigate and take necessary steps to ensure the information is updated or the domain will be deleted.

You may consider purchasing our IP Protection whois service.
